Early access

Terms of Use

These terms apply to the DontStay website, applications, and early-access service. By using the service, you agree to use it responsibly and to keep control of the devices, repositories, and providers you connect.

The service

DontStay is a local-first control layer for coding agents running on computers you own or are authorized to use. Early-access features may change, be incomplete, or become temporarily unavailable while we improve reliability and security.

Accounts and devices

You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in methods, and promptly report suspected compromise. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to apply reasonable security measures.

Signing in with Google, GitHub, or Apple does not itself authorize access to a Mac, repository, coding agent, team, or worker. Device pairing, ownership, membership, and execution grants are separate decisions.

Your instructions

Automation can edit files, run commands, use network services, or interact with third-party systems when you authorize it. Review requested permissions and approval screens, maintain suitable backups and version control, and do not connect resources you do not have authority to manage.

Acceptable use

Do not use DontStay to break the law, gain unauthorized access, distribute malware, interfere with services, evade safeguards, abuse another person, or process data without a lawful basis. Do not probe or overload hosted infrastructure except through an authorized security-testing program.

Third-party services

DontStay can connect to third-party identity, hosting, AI, source-control, and coding-agent services. Their terms, usage limits, prices, data practices, and availability are controlled by those providers. DontStay does not receive your Google password and does not include access to Gmail, Drive, or Calendar as part of Google sign-in.

Your content

You retain rights in your repositories, prompts, task content, and results. You give DontStay only the limited permission needed to process content for the features you request, secure the service, and meet legal obligations. You are responsible for having the necessary rights to content you submit.

Software and branding

DontStay and its branding, product design, documentation, and service software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except where an open-source license says otherwise, these terms do not grant a right to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse the service or marks.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue early-access features; apply limits needed for safety or capacity; or block activity that creates security or legal risk. We will use reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary disruption and to communicate material account-impacting changes.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, early-access features are provided without a promise that they will be uninterrupted or error-free. Coding-agent output can be incorrect or destructive and must be reviewed. DontStay is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss where such exclusions are legally permitted. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending use and contact

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend access for material breach, abuse, security risk, or legal requirements. Questions about these terms can be sent to alpha@dontstay.ai.
